Our Classes
Prenatal Classes are offered regardless of the type of birth you plan to have. Classes will help you reduce fear and anxiety, while learning helpful information from nurses who are up to date on birthing practices and policies.
Prenatal Classes
First Care provides free prenatal education through group classes led by medical professionals.
Available Classes
Pregnancy Classes (3 sessions)
Learn about your pregnancy journey trimester by trimester and the changes that will take place in your body. This class is open to anyone with a positive pregnancy test and their support person.
Birth Classes (6 sessions)
Learn about labor, delivery, and postpartum care, breastfeeding, newborn care and mother care. This class is open to women in their 2nd or 3rd trimester plus a partner or support person.
Parenting Classes (Ongoing)
Participate in individual or group parenting classes at one of our locations. Our Every Family parenting program provides individual support and education to families with children up to age 5.
Mother and Baby Classes (3 sessions)
Learn about postpartum recovery in the hospital and beyond, newborn cares, feeding your baby, and more. This class is open to those who are approaching their due date or who have recently delivered.
